Lisa Elia, Los Angeles Business Coach, Strategist and Publicist

Lisa Elia, the company's CEO and founder, is known to many for her more than 20 years working as a publicist. Lisa has secured placements for clients in major media outlets, such as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Time Magazine, USA Today, CNN, Redbook, In Style and hundreds of others. She has positioned clients for book deals, endorsement deals, positions as contributing editors to magazines and even their own TV shows. She has been interviewed in outlets that include Inc., Us, Entertainment Tonight, E! and many others.

For many years, Lisa acted as a business strategist to her clients, helping them to establish new markets for their products, develop high-level partnerships, and troubleshoot problems with systems and staffing. As she continued to study and create systems for increased efficiency and productivity and to streamline her own business, she began to receive requests to act as a business coach. Her decades of managing multiple projects and employees, combined with the communication skills she continually sharpens with her frequent media training and public speaking engagements, enabled her to feel ready for this shift.

Now, Lisa provides services as a Los Angeles business coach and strategist, and she provides publicity coaching. She has also created numerous home-study and coaching programs, to help entrepreneurs and small business owners run their businesses more effectively and garner publicity. She has also created a communication program that anyone can use to develop more confident, clear and compassionate communication skills.

She leads her team in the consulting and communication projects that the firm takes on.

About Lisa's background:

Lisa’s interest in the field of communication began early: she earned her bachelor’s degree in communication with a public relations focus from the University of Delaware and has spent more than 20 years continuously building upon the strong foundation of her formal education. After working for other firms for a few years, she formed a small marketing-communications firm in Wilmington, Delaware.

After spending a short time living in New York, Lisa knew the great weather was calling to her. She moved to Los Angeles and founded Lisa Elia Public Relations in 1998, with the promise to herself to only work with businesses and people she feels passionately about helping because of their passion for what they do. She became a sought-after publicist, working with everyone from solopreneurs to publicly traded international companies, attorneys, medical doctors, and others who wanted professional guidance and great results.

In 2013, Lisa shifted the focus of the company, as people had been looking to her to be a business strategist and consultant for years. She and her team create strategic plans and troubleshoot problems for clients, and she provides business coaching, PR coaching and media and presentation training to clients that range from start-ups and solopreneurs to C-level executives and people in the entertainment industry.

Although she is a Los Angeles business coach and strategist, Lisa works with clients throughout the world.

“I love that my job is to help people clarify and spread the messages they are here to deliver and to create strategies for success,” says Lisa.
